Identifying the source and scope
The translation refers to specified files, pages or ranges of messages. It preserves statement order, visible participant identifiers, dates, times and references to attachments. Agreed source-material identifiers are used for larger file collections.
A conversation export may contain text, attachments and information saved in separate files. The assignment defines the parts intended for translation and how graphics and illegible passages will be presented.
Translation certification
For a certified translation, the source description corresponds to the form supplied for translation. The certification statement and repertory number identify the completed translation under art. 17 and 18 of the Act on the Profession of Sworn Translator.
Correspondence translation assignment
A quotation requires legible material, the scope of messages or pages, target language and deadline. For documentation supplied by a law firm or procedural authority, we also agree the case identifier and how the translation will be linked to the files.
